INSPIRATION
Spotify Wrapped isn’t just a digital campaign–it’s a cultural moment. Every year, millions of users eagerly anticipate their personalized music recap, but behind the scenes, a dedicated team of Spotify employees works tirelessly to make it all happen. To recognize their hard work, Spotify wanted to create a special gift for the 600+ employees who helped bring Wrapped to life. The goal was to deliver a high-quality, well designed collection of products that employees would love while staying true to Spotify’s ethos and the 2024 Wrapped branding.
THE PLAN
Spotify came to Whitestone with a clear creative vision, having already designed that year’s Wrapped branding. With their designs in hand, our role was to source and produce a selection of premium products that fit their theme, balanced norm and function, and could be seamlessly drop-shipped to their employees around the world. Whitestone focused on selecting items that not only complemented Spotify’s modern and vibrant branding but also aligned with their commitment to sustainability and practicality. Every product was chosen with the end user in mind, ensuring a mix of style, functionality, and long-term usability.
Each item was carefully selected for its quality, utility, and ability to reflect the bold, energetic feel of Wrapped.
THE PRODUCT
THE HOODIE
Made from a sleek material and modern silhouette, this hoodie was both stylish and sustainable, with each one saving approximately 8 plastic bottles from ending up in landfills.
HAT
A timeless staple, this premium cap was designed for everyday wear, making it a long-lasting gift that team members could enjoy for years.
THE TEE
A soft and breathable essential, this t-shirt combined comfort with a modern fit, making it a versatile staple for any wardrobe.
ACRYLIC PINS
Departing from traditional enamel pins, we opted for acrylic pins to fully capture Spotify’s intricate Wrapped designs in 3D detail.
THE TUMBLER
A versatile piece that served as both a metal koozie and a tumbler with a lid, making it perfect for multiple beverage types. We chose a black color to align seamlessly with the Wrapped aesthetic.
STICKER SHEET
These custom sticker sheets have recipients the opportunity to personalize their tumblers or other items - adding a fun, interactive element to the kit.
THE RESULTS
The final kits were shipped to employees across the globe, bringing the energy of Spotify Wrapped straight to their doors. The combination of premium, functional, and sustainable items made this gifting experience both meaningful and memorable. By blending thoughtful design with quality products, Spotify was able to create a lasting connection with their team and celebrate the incredible work behind one of their most anticipated annual campaigns.
